Easter (Smokin' Hot Mama Style)

Easter is undeniably my favorite Holiday.  If pastel colors, daffodils, fluffy bunnies and enough boiled eggs to give you gas until May don’t “float your basket”, here’s a new tradition for you.

My 3 kids count down to Easter morning as if Santa were coming 4 months late.  It’s not the new flip flops, swim suits, chocolate bunny or Peeps they’re so excited about . . . Nope, it’s the Crim Family Coupons that keep them awake on Easter Eve.

The Secret Code of HAPPY

Happiness.  Isn't that what we all really want?  To be happy is the American dream.  In fact it's in our constitution.  But as Benjamin Franklin said, "The US Constitution doesn't guaranteed happiness, only the pursuit of it.  You have to catch it yourself."

We all want to be happy.  So if it's a universal, undeniable common want that we all have for ourselves and everyone else, don't you think we should know where happiness comes from?  You've probably figured out by now it's not found in a brand new car, a bigger house, a smaller butt, more babies, or a new husband.

I hate "get slim quick" scams.  I literally cringe over the commercial for Sensa, the "sprinkle magic crystals on your cheeseburger and lose weight" diet.  I'm left wondering how many innocent folks have gotten their hopes up over that one.  Ready for something better ... I've got it for you.
